An'an ran to the intersection with a backpack on his back.
The green light was on. An'an looked left and right, then stepped onto the crosswalk, walking carefully across. The white stripes looked like a little piano laid out on the ground. When he reached the other side, An'an let out a gentle sigh and quickly walked towards the school.
As soon as the school bell rang, An'an picked up his drawing paper and headed home. A stranger smiled and reached out his hand, saying he had candy and small toys and wanted to take An'an to see them. An'an immediately stepped back, hugged his drawing paper tightly, and shouted, "I won't go with you!" He turned and ran towards the familiar stationery store.
An'an ran to the entrance of the stationery store and asked the owner to help him make a phone call. Just as he finished speaking, a round glass marble rolled out from under his feet, bumping into a metal bucket with a "clang." An'an paused for a moment, then pointed to the ground and said, "It’s slippery here!" When his parents came to pick him up, he explained what had happened very clearly.
Back at home, An'an saw a wire hanging near the socket and shiny little scissors on the table, so he reached out to touch them. He immediately remembered what had happened on the road and quickly pulled his hand back, turning to find an adult: "It's dangerous here!" The adult hurriedly put the things away and took An'an to check the places that shouldn't be touched.
The next day on the way home from school, An'an stood at the intersection to check the traffic lights and carefully walked around the construction fence. He even stopped a little rabbit that almost dashed out for a ball at the crosswalk, saying seriously, "Wait a moment, we can go when the green light is on." The evening breeze fluttered his little scarf, and An'an walked home like a proud little safety guard.
