Through the spaceship window, Miguel saw a different star twinkling far away among so many bright dots. At that moment, he turned the steering wheel. “I’m going there!”
Miguel pressed a row of buttons and steered his spaceship through space. Suddenly, a cloud of stardust covered the glass with golden sparkles. He frowned, wiped the window with his sleeve, and continued on. Vroom...
Miguel pointed the spaceship again at the star. But three little space pebbles spun by: plink, plonk, plump! He pulled the joystick quickly, dodged the three, and let out a sigh: “Phew!”
When he got closer, Miguel noticed that the star didn’t stay still. Ribbons of light danced out from it and made a tinkling sound on the hull of the spaceship. His eyes widened, he laughed at the funny sound, and gently leaned in to see better.
Miguel opened the observation hatch and saw the mysterious light bloom like a flower in space. The colors changed from blue to pink and gold. He stayed very still for a moment. Then he whispered, “Wow...”
After that, Miguel turned the spaceship back and crossed space with a smile. Through the window, he took one last look at the distant glow. The panel blinked softly, the stars passed like sugar in the dark, and he continued happily, ready to seek another wonder any day.
