High in the treetop home, brushing time begins in the tiniest bathroom.
Squirm. Slip. Plink! The toothbrush drops into the sink.
Quibble groans, taps the counter, and stares at one minty foam dot on the mirror.
Then Quibble spots a crinkled note behind the cup. "Sing the secret song for two minutes."
Quibble grabs the toothbrush and sings, "Brush up, brush down, sparkle all around!"

Quibble huffs at the slow second hand, then tries the song again—faster.
Side to side swish. Tap-tap on the sink. Tap-tap, tap-tap!
Pop! A puff of bubbles rises in the mirror like a foamy crown.
Quibble laughs and sings louder. Minty bubbles bob over the soap dish.
Top teeth. Bottom teeth. Back teeth. Quibble sings every part.
Then a giant wobble of foam plops right onto Quibble's nose.
Quibble bursts out laughing, grabs the sink, rinses, and sings the very last line.
Ding! Quibble lifts the brush like a winner's flag.
Quibble hops down, flashes clean teeth at the mirror, and sings the secret song again.
Next time, Quibble races for the stool before the first note even starts.
