The sunlight poured into the bright big window of the animal forest dentist's office. Soo Bing's paws clutched the edge of the green leather chair tightly, his claws making a soft "scritch scritch" sound on the surface.
The hippo dentist came over, pushing a shiny little mirror. Soo Bing immediately closed his mouth tight, like a hard walnut. "I absolutely, absolutely won't open," he squeezed out through his tightly shut teeth.
The clinic was very quiet, and the hippo dentist showed no signs of rushing. He slowly took out a pair of yellow star sunglasses and gently placed them on Soo Bing's nose.
The huge spotlight above made a "click" sound and lit up. The bright light was not blinding at all; instead, it turned into a round glowing circle projected on the white wall. Soo Bing curiously turned his head and stared closely at the light spot.
The bright spot on the wall jumped around like a playful little mouse. "Guess where that little light mouse has run off to?" the hippo dentist pointed with his chubby finger at the high ceiling.
Soo Bing couldn't help but tilt his head back and open his mouth, shouting, "Meow—" At that moment, a little brush with a strawberry-flavored foam immediately popped in.
The soft bristles spun happily between his teeth. "Swish swish, swish swish," it felt like a gentle tickle. Soo Bing's toes relaxed involuntarily, and he quietly let go of the armrests with his paws.
"Wow, I found a crumb from yesterday's cookie!" the hippo dentist said happily. Soo Bing's mouth was filled with sweet foam, and he couldn't help but laugh along with a "woo woo."
With a "gurgle gurgle" sound of water, Soo Bing spat all the sweet foam into the little sink. He happily wagged his tail and jumped off the treatment chair.
In the big mirror on the wall, two rows of little teeth sparkled, as clean as little white shells. "Next time, I want to come back to catch cookie crumbs!" Soo Bing pointed at his teeth and announced loudly to everyone.
