Frequently Asked Questions

Everything parents, teachers, and creators ask before making their first book.

Is it safe to upload my child's photo?

Yes. Photos you upload are stored privately, used only to illustrate your book, and never sold, shared, or used to train AI models. You can delete a character at any time, and its uploaded photo is removed with it.

How long does it take to make a book?

Most books finish in 3–8 minutes, depending on length and art style. You'll watch each page appear as it's generated, and you can edit any page along the way.

What ages is Doodara designed for?

Books are designed for kids aged 2 to 10. When you pick a template or theme, AI matches the vocabulary, sentence length, and story complexity to the age you choose — so the same idea can become a bedtime board book or a chapter-style early reader.

Can I edit the story or change a page I don't like?

Yes. You can edit the text on any page directly, regenerate just one illustration if it doesn't match what you imagined, or rewrite the whole story from scratch. Nothing is locked in until you export — you stay in control of every page.

Who owns the story and illustrations?

You do. The text and artwork you generate belong to you. Personal use is included with every book; paid plans add commercial rights so you can sell, self-publish on KDP, or print as gifts.

Can I print my book?

Yes. Export a print-ready PDF for home printing or KDP, or order a softcover or hardcover printed copy delivered to your door. Page sizes are designed to meet common print-on-demand requirements.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

You can regenerate any page until it looks right, and edit the text directly. If something still isn't working, email [email protected] and we'll make it right.
