Pipwick found a giant turnip in the forest garden. He grabbed the green leaves and yanked with all his might. Swish! Dirt flew, but the turnip did not move even a whisker.
He tried again from a stump. He hopped and tugged. Then he tied the leaves to a creaky wheelbarrow. Snap! The rope broke, and Pipwick crashed into the cabbages.
Pipwick brushed off the dirt and ran down the winding path for help.
"Pull!" called Pipwick. In the mushroom-scented garden, everyone heaved together. Pop! The giant turnip burst free, and all of them flipped into a fluffy pile of leaves.
They chopped and stirred the enormous turnip. They carried it to the clearing, where steam curled up and bowls clinked under the great oak.
Pipwick smiled as everyone shared big spoonfuls together. The clearing glowed warm and happy beneath the great oak.
