Ale kicks the ball down the field. The crowd cheers loud. His team runs after it, fast and determined.
The other team blocks the goal. Ale stops. He wipes sweat from his forehead. The ball sits still.
Ale taps the ball to Max. Max dribbles past one defender and looks upfield for an open teammate.
Max passes to Zara. Zara sprints after the ball, but it rolls too far. She runs hard, stretching for it, but it slips past.
Ale shouts, 'Pass it back!' His voice carries across the field. Zara hears him and turns.
Zara kicks it hard. THWACK! The ball bounces off the post and rolls straight to Ale.
Ale shoots. The ball flies past the goalkeeper and into the net. GOAL! The crowd erupts.
His teammates rush over and hug him. They all jump up and down together, shouting with joy.
Students wave from the sidelines. Colorful banners wave in the background. Cheering fills the air.
Ale grins. His cheeks are red, but his smile is huge. He can't stop laughing.
