The white void stretched out forever. Alisa reached up high. She tugged the giant moon.
Alisa’s fingers hooked into the surface. It stretched like soft dough. Her palms felt cool and sticky.
The moon slipped from her grasp. It rolled across the floor. Daniel caught it with wide eyes.
A soft hum vibrated through the floor. Daniel held the moon tight. He did not let go.
Alisa grabbed a loose edge again. She pulled hard this time. The moon snapped back suddenly.
Boing! It bounced off Daniel’s nose. He giggled and rubbed his reddened tip. It was funny.
Alisa pushed the moon gently. It settled in Daniel’s lap. He patted it softly.
The sphere glowed brighter. Light danced on their knees. They sat side by side in peace.
