Anas stepped past the garden fence. The deep green forest swallowed the light.
The path twisted wildly. Anas called out, but only a leaf tickled his nose.
A red squirrel dropped onto his shoulder. It pointed its tail toward a glowing blue butterfly.
He chased the butterfly through scratchy brambles. The log hollow revealed the squirrel's wide eyes.
The squirrel scampered in circles around an oak tree. Suddenly, Anas saw his house roof.
Anas waved goodbye. He ran home, muddy shoes and a happy heart.
