Aya and Lizzie trot along the winding forest path, hooves clicking softly on the leaf-strewn trail. Sunlight dripped through the colorful canopy in golden ribbons, painting the way ahead.
Lizzie's ears shot straight up. She nudged Aya with her soft nose toward a cluster of violet flowers at the edge of the path — glowing like tiny stars in the green shadows.
Past the flowers, a shimmering trail appeared — one no one had ever walked before. It sparkled like crushed diamonds, winding through the trees and disappearing into the heart of the Rainbow Kingdom.
They followed the glittering trail until it ended at the edge of a crystal-clear stream. And there — where the rainbow bridge should have arched — only cracked, pale gray stone remained.
Lizzie closed her eyes and hummed a low, magic note. Her mane began to glow — warm amber, then gold — but the bridge only flickered and refused to fully wake.
Aya stepped forward and placed her small hand on the cold stone railing. She thought: We do it together.
"We do it together," Aya whispered. Her voice met Lizzie's glowing hum, and the bridge erupted — color rushing back in a wave of brilliant rainbow light!
A soft musical chime rang across the water. The bridge was whole again, more beautiful than ever, its colors singing in the afternoon light.
Aya climbed onto Lizzie's back, and they galloped across the shining bridge together. The wind rushed past, sweet with the scent of blooming flowers.
Along the path, the flowers burst open in every color — pink, gold, turquoise, magenta — as if the bridge's magic had spread through the whole kingdom.
The wind carried the sound of their laughter — bright and ringing — ahead into the enchanted kingdom, where the colors grew even brighter and the flowers sang back.
Aya and Lizzie rode into the heart of the Rainbow Kingdom, side by side, together — their friendship the brightest color of all.
