The living room was warm and cozy. Bayla patted her pockets. Her glasses were gone.
She looked under the couch cushions. No glasses. She frowned at the picture book on the table. It was all blurry.
'Daddy, have you seen my glasses?' Bayla tugged her father's sleeve. He lifted her onto his knee. 'Let's play our tickle monster game!'
The tickle monster tickled her tummy. Bayla giggled. The tickle monster tickled her toes.
The tickle monster tickled her ribs. Bayla laughed louder. She bounced and giggled with every touch.
Bayla laughed so hard she almost fell off the couch. Then she remembered! She reached up and pulled her glasses right off her head.
Bayla put on her glasses. She saw her father's proud smile. 'I knew you'd remember!'
Bayla snuggled into her father's chest. He gave her a big hug. She looked at the picture book. Everything was clear and bright.
Bayla picked up the picture book. Her glasses made everything sharp and bright. She smiled.
The tickle monster had helped her remember. Bayla closed the picture book and leaned against her father. Everything was perfect.
