Berry bounced through the sunny garden. Boing-boing! His red B-shape wiggled with every leap.
He spotted a plump apple on a high branch. Boing! He bounced higher and higher.
His bounces only carried him so far. The apple stayed right where it was.
Berry watched the shy blueberry reach for sunberries. The branch was too high.
Berry nudged the branch with his nose. Creaaaaak. The berries stayed out of reach.
Berry bounced away, thinking hard. Bump! His round shape hit a garden gnome's hat.
Berry tried bouncing off a mushroom. Poof! He landed in a patch of clover.
His bouncy shape sagged. Then he tipped over — and rolled in a perfect spiral!
Berry watched the spiral roll. His B-curve made it perfect. An idea formed.
A grumpy radish needed a strawberry from over the fence. Berry grinned.
Berry bounced straight up the fence post. Creak, creak, creak! His B-curve caught the bark.
He reached the strawberry, plucked it, and rolled back down. Plop! It landed in the radish's hands.
The next morning, Berry bounced to the apple tree. The blueberry waited below.
Berry bounced high — thunk! — and the apple fell. It rolled right to the blueberry's feet.
The blueberry giggled, patting the apple. Berry bounced in a happy circle.
His bouncy shape was exactly what his friends needed. Boing!
