Bibo crawled across the soft rug. Sunlight pooled on the floor.
He bumped his nose against a yellow toy airplane. A big red A sat on its wing. He tapped it three times. 'A!' he giggled.
Bibo waddled out the front door. The baker was hanging a sign on her shop.
Bibo pointed at the big C. 'C!' said the baker. Bibo waved at it.
Bibo marched down the sidewalk. A blue truck rumbled by with a big E on its side.
Bibo peeked at a green mailbox. A shiny B gleamed on it. He clapped his hands.
A mail carrier walked by and waved. Bibo waved back. The letter landed in the box with a soft thud.
Bibo tiptoed to a shop window. An alphabet poster covered the whole wall. He pressed his palms against the glass.
Bibo's mouth fell open. Every letter — A to Z! He wanted to reach them all.
Bibo marched back outside. He found all his friends waiting on the sidewalk.
Bibo pointed at the A, then the B, then the C. 'A, B, C!' he announced. Everyone clapped.
A breeze flipped the pages of the poster. One letter after another. A, B, C… all the way to Z.
