Bluey dashed into the sunny backyard. Beside the flowers sat a box of bright crayons and a blank cardboard sheet.
Bluey grabbed a yellow crayon and zoomed a giant sun across the cardboard. Squeak, squeak! The crayon scratched bright circles into the sheet.
A butterfly fluttered near the flowers. Bluey colored a paper butterfly blue, orange, and purple, then watched the real one land on it.
The butterfly flapped away with the paper stuck to Bluey’s paw. Bluey giggled and hurried after it toward the toys.
Bluey colored the toy wagon red and filled it with green leaves, pink petals, and blue chalk. Then Bluey tugged it across the grass.
The wagon bumped over a root—BUMP! Petals flew like confetti, and Bluey clapped before rolling the wagon beneath the trees.
Under the shady tree, Bluey carried the crayons and colored a rainbow path toward the flower bed. Red, yellow, green, and purple marks marched across the grass.
A sudden breeze scattered the crayons. One rolled into a hollow log, and Bluey crawled after it.
Inside the log, rainbow light shimmered across the bark. Bluey found one glowing crayon and whispered, “Whoa!”
Bluey carried the glowing crayon, decorated cardboard, painted wagon, and flower petals onto the grass. The pieces waited together beneath the open sky.
Bluey twirled through a rainbow backyard. The butterfly circled overhead, while the wagon, flowers, toys, and every special corner joined the bright game.
Bluey raced beneath the rainbow sun as petals danced behind. The backyard was ready for one more colorful adventure.
