Bobby slid onto his chair. He spread his paper wide on the table. Three jars of paint waited in front of him.
He grinned and rolled up his sleeves. Red, blue, and yellow paint sat in little jars. The lids were loose from last class.
Bobby dipped his brush in red. Thick stripe! Then blue. Then yellow. He dragged each color across the paper.
He pushed the red and blue puddles together. Purple! Then blue and yellow made green. The table became a rainbow map.
Bobby grabbed a big brush. He splashed it through ALL the puddles at once. The colors melted into one giant swirl.
He gasped and leaned so close his nose nearly touched the wet paper. The colors were everywhere.
Bobby held up his painting. He beamed at the whole classroom. The colorful mess glistened under the lights.
He tapped the edge of the paper. It was still damp. Bobby smiled. That was the best painting ever.
