Bubu pushed through a curtain of pink streamers and gasped.
Bubu grabbed the oversized pink straw and took a big slurp. Eyes widened. Bubu bounced happily. "Mmm!" it hummed, hugging the cup close.
Bubu tiptoed behind a fluffy blue mushroom, hiding the cup behind its back. But a little rabbit friend peeked around the stem, eyes tracking every sip.
Bubu tried drinking faster, but the friend kept appearing — from the left, from the right, from behind a floating star. Bubu noticed those small paws on a little belly.
Bubu lifted the cup for one last triumphant gulp — but the straw slipped. SPLORT. The whole cup tipped over.
The little rabbit quietly picked up a single bobbing pearl and held it out. Bubu stared at the empty cup, then at the pearl, then at the sparkling puddle.
Bubu scooped up a handful of pearls and pressed them into the rabbit's paw. Then Bubu wiggled the straw back into the cup and offered it forward. The rabbit took a sip. Pop. Pop. Pop.
Bubu and the rabbit sat side by side on the blue cushion, sipping and passing the cup back and forth. Each sip made Bubu giggle a little more. The last pearl slid down the straw with a happy bubbly pop.
