Bunny hopped through the dark forest beneath the stars. Then—plop! A tiny star landed in the grass with a soft ping.
Bunny scooped up the star gently. Its little light flickered between the leaves. “I’ll help you get home,” Bunny whispered.
Bunny carried the star beneath the tall trees. Branches brushed Bunny’s ears, and the star slipped—boing!—onto Bunny’s head like a glowing hat.
Bunny giggled and caught the star before it bounced away. Then Bunny followed the winding path toward the highest hill.
At the muddy stream, Bunny tried to hop across. One paw splashed in—SPLASH!—but Bunny held the star high above the water.
The star shone brighter. Its light revealed stepping-stones across the stream, one after another.
Bunny climbed the highest hill as the wind whooshed through the grass. At the top, Bunny lifted the star toward the sky.
Whoosh! A sudden gust lifted the star from Bunny’s paws. Bunny stretched up with a long stick and guided it higher.
The star popped into place among the others. It winked down at Bunny, bright and clear.
Bunny curled up in the soft grass. Above, the forest glowed gently beneath the sparkling sky.
