Çaça found a golden star on his windowsill. "Oh!" he whispered. It was warm to the touch.
He stepped onto the star. It lifted him up. The night sky rippled around him like water.
He reached toward a streaking comet. Where his finger traced the air, The sky painted itself in ribbons of orange and pink.
A constellation of tiny stars began to dance. They swirled into shapes and spilled purple, green, and gold across the dark.
A glowing blue flower floated past. Çaça chased it cloud by cloud, and the sky turned twilight purple.
"Wait!" Çaça called. He leaped from cloud to cloud, chasing the little blue light.
He stepped off the star back onto his windowsill. He touched a patch of silver grass below, and the sky burst with every color at once.
A soft star-shaped light stayed glowing at his window all night long.
