Dot spotted a rainbow stretching across the vast, colorful sky. Dot rolled after it, faster and faster.
A bright stripe swooped down and scooped Dot into a spinning swirl. “Whee!” squeaked Dot as red, yellow, and blue flashed everywhere.
Dot rolled along the rainbow, chasing its shining end. Each time Dot came close, the rainbow slid away with a soft whoosh.
Dot paused beside a giant purple shape. Nearby, the rainbow colors danced in rippling patterns.
Dot tried again—up red, across yellow, and under blue. A gust flipped Dot into the sky.
Dot landed with a tiny plop on a dull gray patch. “Oh,” whispered Dot.
The rainbow began to fade, leaving a dark gap in the colorful world. Dot rolled into the gap.
Dot glowed brightly. Suddenly, missing colors burst back in a sparkling wave.
Dot laughed as the rainbow twinkled from one tiny point. Colors curled outward in every direction.
Dot settled at the rainbow’s edge. Every passing color curved around Dot’s bright little spot.
The world shone in new patterns. Dot rolled along happily, leaving a trail of tiny rainbow dots behind.
Tiny rainbow dots danced behind Dot. The great colorful world kept shining.
