Edwards-Hardy waddles down the sleepy lane.
A car zooms by on the busy road.
Edwards-Hardy stops and stares at the road.
The elderly neighbour taps a foot.
Edwards-Hardy marches forward with determined steps.
Edwards-Hardy wraps fingers around the neighbour's finger.
Edwards-Hardy pulls, and the neighbour steps forward.
They reach the other side safely.
Edwards-Hardy does a wobbly happy dance.
The neighbour smiles a big, grateful smile.
Edwards-Hardy beams back.
The neighbour pats Edwards-Hardy's head.
A butterfly lands on the wicker basket.
The lane is quiet and warm again.
