Edwards-Hardy spread her red blanket on the grass.
Three baby friends crawled toward her.
The babies reached for the blue truck.
The truck wheels clacked on the blanket.
She offered the truck to baby friend 1, who giggled.
She offered the truck to baby friend 2, who shook her head.
A butterfly landed on the truck wheels.
Edwards-Hardy placed the truck in the center.
They passed the truck back and forth until it zoomed into the grass.
The babies gasped, then cheered as the truck bounced back.
Edwards-Hardy broke the apple into pieces and shared them.
They pushed the truck in a circle as the lark sang.
