Elea stood at the edge of the playground. A boy was blowing bubbles into the blue sky.
Three bubbles floated past the slide. They bounced softly in the sandbox. Elea took one small step forward.
A big bubble bounced once, twice, three times on the ground. Elea giggled. The boy looked up and saw her.
The boy held out the bubble wand. "Do you want to try?" Elea walked over and took it.
Elea held the wand close. She puffed her cheeks and blew.
A bubble floated out — and landed right on her nose. The boy laughed.
Elea laughed too and wiped her nose with her sleeve. "That tickles!"
Elea blew again. This bubble was big and shiny. It floated up, up, up.
The boy and the girl watched the bubble drift into the sky. It popped with a tiny pop.
Elea smiled. She blew one more bubble, just for herself.
