Beneath a loose floorboard, Kai found a crumpled map. A silver path suddenly glowed. “Whoa!” he whispered.
The hills rippled outside the window. Kai tucked the map safely away and hurried toward the shining path.
Kai followed the silver trail over the rolling hills. At the top, sparkling mist opened like a curtain.
On the other side, the map showed a tiny island. Trees swayed together. “This way… this way…” they whispered.
Kai followed the swaying branches into a grove of glowing flowers. He tapped one gently. Pop!
The flower flashed brighter and sent Kai’s hair straight up. He tumbled into soft moss with a surprised laugh.
Beyond the grove, Kai discovered a sparkling lagoon. A shy island fox peeked from behind a stone.
Kai sat quietly and held out the map. The fox crept closer and nudged one loose corner toward a dark cave.
The lagoon lights flickered out. Kai stepped into the cave, then took another careful step.
Kai lifted the map high. Its glow revealed shining seashells—and the fox beside him, ready to explore.
Together, Kai and the fox carried one glowing shell back to the lagoon. Its light touched the water.
The trees whispered louder. Flowers lit up all around. With the map open, Kai walked onward, smiling at every mysterious path.
