Leo's dad unfolded a big map. "We're going to Europe!" he announced. Leo's family cheered!
Leo grabbed his blue suitcase and zipped it shut. "Let's go!" he said.
The plane touched down. Leo pressed his nose to the window. "Wow!" he whispered.
He ran to the castle gate and tugged the heavy iron handle. It wouldn't budge.
He noticed a small wooden door at the base of the wall. He knocked three times.
It creaked open. Leo stepped into a hidden garden bursting with color.
Children in kimonos, kilts, and hijabs played tag. A girl with braids offered him a red apple.
Leo took a bite. It was sweet. "Thank you," he said.
He joined the game, counting "One, two, three…" as he chased them.
The sky turned pink and orange. Leo's dad called, "Time to go, Leo!"
Leo hugged his new friends. The girl pressed a smooth blue stone into his hand.
Leo pocketed the stone, waved goodbye, and looked back once at the glowing garden.
