Leo stomped his paws on the yellow line. He let out a low growl that vibrated in his chest.
He backed away until his tail hit the coat rack. Leo pulled his shirt tight over his eyes.
A blue butterfly landed softly on his nose. Leo sneezed, blowing the shirt off his face completely.
Leo chased the blue butterfly around the playground. He giggled as it danced just out of reach.
He forgot he was ever worried about being inside. The butterfly danced happily through the air.
Leo sat on the grass, watching the butterfly rest on a flower. He smiled, holding a smooth stone.
The school bell rang, but Leo didn't move. He stayed right where the quiet felt good.
Leo finally stood up and brushed the dirt from his paws. He walked back toward the classroom door.
