Leo bounces on his bed. Boing. Boing. He holds up two fingers and shakes his head. "No nap!" Leo says.
The clock on his wall ticks. Tick. Tick. Tick. Leo flops onto his pillow. His eyes close.
A soft hum fills the room. Tiny glowing butterflies drift from the windowsill, their wings leaving sparkles in the air. Leo's eyes open. He sits up.
Leo follows the butterflies out the window. They flutter above fluffy clouds that look like cotton candy.
Leo steps onto the softest cloud and floats forward. "This is amazing," Leo whispers.
The butterflies lead Leo to a giant cloud shaped like a boat with a sail made of moonlight.
Leo climbs aboard. The boat rocks gently, then glides across a sky filled with shimmering stars. Leo reaches out and touches a star — it chimes like a tiny bell.
Leo floats back to his bedroom window. The butterflies settle on his windowsill and glow softer now. Leo lies down and smiles. He rests his head on his pillow. Sleep comes easily.
