Leo found a dusty photo album at the end of the pier. He opened it — and the pages glowed gold.
A warm breeze tugged at his shirt. Leo tumbled forward — right into the picture.
Leo crawled through the album and landed in a little park. A tiny gray kitten was lost and crying.
Leo followed the sound of a bell. He tracked tiny paw prints through the grass and led the kitten home.
Leo stepped into another picture. A shy girl with purple hair hid her drawings behind her back.
Leo showed her his crumpled paper boat. She slowly offered him one of her pictures to trade.
Leo found himself in a bakery. An old baker with flour in his eyebrows handed him a square of paper.
The baker taught him how to fold a boat. They set it on the puddle and it sailed.
The baker laughed so hard he dropped his spatula. It clattered on the floor.
Leo reached for the last page — but it kept slipping away. His friends all appeared at once.
They grabbed his hands together and pulled him free with a soft pop.
Leo filled the last page with a photo of everyone in the park. He smiled and closed the album.
