Leo pushed his toys across the grass. The rag doll waved hello.
The dinosaur stomped forward — thump, thump, thump — right over Leo's sneaker. He giggled.
The dinosaur chomped at a dandelion. Leo pointed at the kite and whispered, 'Your turn.'
The kite tipped and caught the breeze, hovering above the fence. The airplane zoomed past, doing loops over the flowers.
Leo chased them both until they crashed softly into the tall grass. He reached in and found them waiting, perfectly still.
The train began to chug along the edge of the patio, then climbed up the porch step.
All five toys moved together in a line toward the kitchen table. Leo followed on his knees.
On the rug, the toys formed a circle around Leo's favorite pillow.
Leo lay down in the middle and rested his chin on his arms.
The dinosaur dropped the squished dandelion into his palm.
Leo smiled and closed his eyes.
The toys stayed perfectly still. It was a perfect Saturday.
