Lila yanked open the giant storybook. Thirty poems, thirty stories, twenty plays, and many more creations burst into the air. WHOOSH!
Pages flutter everywhere. Lila grabbed the paintbrush and swished it through the storm. “Come back, little pages!”
Lila stacked the poems first. The poems hopped right off the pile, chanting, “Rhyme time!”
Books bumped, tumbled, and scattered across the colorful floor. Lila laughed and chased them toward the theater stage.
Next came stories, plays, and puppet shows. Puppets bowed, marionettes danced, and a shadow dragon popped out with a sneeze. ACHOO!
Bright paint splattered the wall beside the graffiti. Lila gathered the pantomimes, marionettes, shadows, and novels into one enormous book.
Lila slammed the cover shut. The storybook world went dark and silent. Even the last painted sparkle disappeared.
Lila opened the book again. Light rushed out, and every creation leaped toward the stage.
Poems sang. Puppets waved. Shadows wiggled, and paint sparkled on the walls. Lila clapped as new adventures began.
The stage filled with stories, songs, shadows, and shining paint. Lila reached for a fresh blank page. “What shall we make next?”
