Lulu hopped out of her burrow. The meadow glowed in the warm morning sun.
Something red flashed beyond the grass. "What could that be?" Lulu wondered.
She followed the red flash to a bush bursting with roses. Pink, red, and cream petals everywhere.
She sniffed one petal, then another. Her whiskers curled with delight.
Lulu bounced toward a field of sunflowers. They towered over her like golden giants.
Her ears bounced with every happy hop. The golden petals nodded along.
Lulu reached the brook and stopped. The water was blue, and so was the sky.
She tilted her head. A tiny silver fish flashed and darted away. "Wow," Lulu thought.
For the first time, Lulu saw the whole world painted in color. Red roses, golden flowers, blue water.
Lulu hopped into the green forest. Leaves shimmered and moss carpeted the ground.
She pressed her paw against a cool damp trunk. The earthy smell filled her nose.
Everything she loved was now even more beautiful. Lulu hopped home with a full happy heart.
