Lumina pushed through a curtain of glowing vines and spotted a narrow path she had never seen before.
A soft chiming sound hummed from beyond the leaves, like a tiny bell ringing just for her.
Lumina walked deeper into the path and found a sparkling stream that glittered like scattered silver coins.
She dipped her hoof in — the water laughed out loud and splashed back with a handful of rainbow sparkles.
She followed the sparkles and discovered a giant rainbow arch across the valley, but every color looked faded and pale.
She nudged the arch with her nose. Nothing. She stamped both hooves. Still nothing.
She stamped both hooves and let out a loud whinny, and WHOOSH — color flooded back in bold stripes of red, gold, violet, and green!
Lumina gasped and touched the rainbow with her horn, which began to glow with a warm golden light.
The magical flowers along the path opened wider and giggled, the stream hummed a happy tune, and Lumina hopped from one colored stripe to another across the sky.
Lumina trotted back toward home with her horn glowing like a little lantern. The enchanted path stayed open and shimmering behind her, waiting for tomorrow.
