Luna hopped through the moonlit meadow. The tall grass whispered against her ears.
A tiny flicker glowed at her burrow entrance. Luna peered inside — a small star was curled on the dirt floor, glowing like a dandelion puff.
The star sneezed — a sparkle puffed right into Luna's nose. She sneezed too! Achoo!
Luna picked up the star gently. It trembled in her paws, its light faint against the moonlight. 'Don't worry,' she thought. 'I'll help you home.'
She tried blowing the star upward. It bounced off her whiskers and rolled into the clover.
She tugged a vine to make a ladder. The star slid down and nestled into a thimble. She tried a daisy stem — but the star fell asleep.
Luna carried the sleeping star to the tallest grass stalk. She climbed up as high as she could.
She set the star down and gave it a little push. It rolled and rolled until it landed in a patch of dew.
The dew made the star shimmer brighter. It yawned — and its glow doubled!
The star slowly rose into the night sky. A trail of silver sparkles followed behind it.
The star blinked down at her once. Luna waved her paw. She smiled.
Luna hopped home through the meadow. The moonlight felt warmer than ever.
