The young girl watches her famous dad practice his golf swing in the living room.
*Swish-whoosh-click!* The golf ball bounced right into the birthday cake.
Luna tried to swing like her dad. She swung and missed the ball entirely.
The ball rolled slowly toward the coffee table. Her lips pressed into a thin line.
*WHACK!* The ball flew up and landed in Mom's lap. She just smiled and handed it back.
The ball bounced off Dad's knee, then the dog's head, and straight into the birthday hat.
Luna dropped the club and kicked at a stray confetti piece. "I can't play golf like you," she said.
Dad knelt down. "You don't have to," he said. "We play golf however we want." Her brothers and sister raised their clubs.
The girl grabbed the biggest club and took the biggest swing of her life.
*BOOM!* The ball sailed straight into the piñata. It exploded into candy and glitter. Luna grinned the biggest grin in the world.
