Luna stood at the edge of her cozy burrow. She peered into the dark woods where shadows whispered secrets.
She took one tiny step onto the mossy path. Suddenly, a twig snapped loudly under her paw.
Luna pulled back quickly, hiding her tail behind her legs. She waited for the sound to fade away.
She tiptoed past a giant sleeping owl who snorted dust in her face. Luna held her breath until it settled.
White powder settled on her nose like a beard. Luna blinked, realizing the forest was full of surprises.
A glowing blue mushroom popped open with a loud pop. Luna jumped three feet in the air.
Her ears perked up as she realized the forest was full of surprises. Luna decided to explore further.
Luna ran forward, chasing flickering lights deeper into the twilight. She giggled, feeling brave and bright.
