Luna chased a silver firefly past ferns and whispering pines.
At the woods’ edge, Luna reached up. Too late—the firefly vanished into violet dusk.
Luna followed mushroom markers, but they ended at a tangled bramble.
A stone path curled in a circle, returning to the same pine. “I’m lost,” Luna thought.
Luna tucked beneath pine branches. Crickets clicked. A branch snapped.
A warm glow floated down. Starlight bounced above, shining like a dandelion puff.
Starlight zipped between the trunks. Luna ran after the daring glow.
Luna splashed across a humming creek, following Starlight’s buzz.
The Great Oak roots rose ahead. Mamma and Pappa waited with arms wide.
That night, Luna slept between Mamma and Pappa. Her tail swished once against Starlight’s fur.
