Luna slides across the soft grass. She stops in front of a white book, as white as snow.
She strokes the smooth pages with her white paws. The scent of fresh paper rises into the air.
She takes a yellow pencil and draws a big smiling sun on the cover.
The drawn sun gives off real warmth that warms her pink ears.
She draws purple and blue flowers that bloom from the page and perfume the whole garden.
A real butterfly lands on the newly born flower, blurring the line between magic and reality.
She tries to draw a blue river, but the pencil snaps in two with a sharp crack.
Luna looks at the broken pieces, then at the empty book, and squints her eyes in concentration.
She uses her feet to smear the blue sky ink directly onto the grass.
The grass turns blue under her paws, creating a soft and fun carpet to walk on.
She jumps up and down on the blue carpet. She laughs happily at her new invention.
The setting sun paints the garden orange. Luna falls asleep on her carpet.
