Mum pulled the blanket over Mally. Mally kicked it right off.
The yellow nightlight glowed. Mally frowned.
Dad placed the rattle on the nightstand. Mally reached for it.
His fingers missed. The rattle went clink.

Mally scrambled under the bed. A toy train glinted.
Mum picked Mally up. 'Train sleep now,' she whispered.
Mum tucked Mally in. Chewie and Indie curled up. Mally's eyes grew heavy.
