Beneath the willow, Milo pressed his nose to the damp moss. Something blue was glowing.

He found it — a tiny blue Moonberry, pulsing like a heartbeat. He tucked it into his paws.

He hurried toward the old oak trees, holding the berry close. But the light grew thinner with every step.

He curled up among the roots, watching the last shimmer reflect in a drop of dew. Almost gone.

He thought — maybe it doesn't like being kept all to himself.

A small white bunny peeked from behind a bush, reaching toward the dim berry.

Milo wrapped his paws around it and backed away. The light sputtered weakly. Then he lifted it — toward the bunny.

The glow exploded! Golden sparks floated into the air. The bunny's ears wobbled with delight.

The warm light painted both of them in swirling gold. Milo grinned and took a step back — the light followed.

He trotted back toward the center of the glade, the Moonberry blazing like a tiny moon. Friends! he called.

The hedgehog, the owl, and the bunny gathered around. Their soft sounds mixed with the berry's gentle hum.

Milo sat in the middle and watched all the faces lit up, smiling. The brightest the night had ever been.
