Deep in the whispering forest, Milo pushes through tall ferns and stops. Something gleams between the roots like a fallen star.
A little bear finds a basket glowing like a captured star. His ears twitch. The basket hums a sweet tune.
A line of fireflies drifts away, pulsing like a tiny road. Milo follows, hopping over roots and ducking under branches.
A fox steps from the shadows, her tail flicking toward the clearing. Milo trots after her, his paws soft on the moss.
At the edge of the clearing, Milo freezes. Firefly lanterns hover above a woven blanket where friends pass around honey cakes and berry juice.
A badger looks up and waves. Milo steps onto the blanket, still clutching his glowing basket.
The friends cheer. Milo opens his basket, and a cloud of silver sparkles drifts out, landing everywhere.
Sparkles land on everyone's noses. The rabbits, squirrels, and badger giggle. Milo laughs too.
Milo shares his treats under the watching stars. The forest hums along, happy and full.
