Nana brought the warm bottle. Minnine drank and drank.
Her legs went wobbly. She tipped right over!
"Easy there, little one," Pop laughed, catching her gently.
Later, Minnine wandered out to the green pasture. She saw other lambs playing nearby.
A butterfly landed on her nose. Achoo!
Pop rolled the fluffy white ball toward her. She nudged it away with her nose.
The ball went thud into the hay. Minnine sighed.
Back in the barn, Nana patted the space between her and Pop.
Minnine curled up between them. Her breathing slowed.
The barn filled with the soft rustle of hay. Minnine dreamed.
Morning sunlight spilled into the barn. Minnine stretched.
She nuzzled Nana's hand, then Pop's shoulder. "Maaa!"
