Ollie dropped his bone near the big oak tree. Something crinkly curled beneath the roots.
He unrolled it. A big red X stared back. The map wiggled — like it wanted him to follow.
He trotted past the rose garden and met a hedgehog with a berry stain on his nose. 'Quack!' A duck splashed overhead, dripping water right on the map.
At the duck pond, a turtle with a dandelion stem on his head blocked the bridge. He offered a smooth blue stone. Ollie traded his bone.
Ollie dove in, paws clawing at the mud. The turtle clicked his shell from above. Something bumped his whiskers — a tin box.
The rusty box popped open. Inside were three drawings — a cat, a hedgehog, and a turtle, all holding paws around a sun. Best treasure ever.
The hedgehog waddled closer and tapped his drawing. Ollie purred so loud the box rattled. The duck quacked once, impressed.
They trotted back to the big oak tree together. Three shadows tangled in the dappled grass, and they napped.
