Niharika saw the cake. "Happy Birthday!" her family cheered.
She reached up and touched the shiny lights. They tickled her fingers!
A red rose petal landed on her nose. Niharika giggled!
Her family clapped and sang. The candles waved in the breeze.
Niharika held onto the warm candlelight. It made her feel happy.
More red rose petals floated down like snow. Niharika laughed again!
The sparkly lights twinkled blue and gold all around the room.
Niharika snuggled into her soft bed. Her family hummed a quiet song.
Niharika held the warm candlelight. She closed her eyes and smiled.
