Penny stacked pizza, a pig picture, a pencil, and a pear. “P Party!” Penny called.
WHOOSH! Wind burst through the colorful classroom. Pizza, paper, pencil, pear, and purple decorations flew everywhere.
Penny chased the pizza past the snowy doorway. “P-p-pizza!” Penny cried.
A purple paper streamer skated along the fence. Penny grabbed it before the wind carried it away.
Tap-tap-tap! A pencil rolled across the snow. Penny followed its sharp little sound.
The pencil rolled beneath a bench. The pig picture popped up with a paper “oink!” Penny laughed and pulled both pieces free.
Plop! The pear landed in a snowbank. Penny spotted the last purple decoration high on a pole.
Penny leaped, slipped, and landed with a puff of snow. Friends rushed over to help.
Together, everyone collected the scattered P pieces. The party table stood ready again.
Penny shared pizza and pear. Friends held the pig picture, passed the pencil, and waved purple decorations.
“P is for party!” Penny said. Paper pigs danced in the snowy wind.
“P-p-p-p hooray!” everyone cheered. Purple decorations danced above the snowy party.
