Piko hopped beneath soft white clouds toward Sparkle Meadow. One paw froze in the air.
An enormous tangle blocked the whole path. His ears drooped. He knew he had to find a way through.
Piko grabbed the thickest vine and pulled with all his might. It sprang back and tickled his whiskers.
The vine bounced back — eep! Piko hopped backward. He could not move it alone.
Piko whistled his friend call. A red fox and a bluebird darted from the wildflowers.
They each grabbed a strand and pulled together. The tangle wiggled and shivered.
With a loud POP, the tangle popped open. A hidden path of glowing mushrooms hummed a warm melody.
Piko hopped onto the glowing path, his friends close behind. They tumbled into Sparkle Meadow.
Flowers bloomed in every color. His ears perked up. The air smelled sweet like clover honey.
Piko bounced forward, his white tail a puff. Sparkle Meadow was finally his.
