Pip stepped behind the old oak tree and saw the park. Every bench, every lamppost, every tree hummed with a soft tickly glow.
Pip touched the lamppost. It shivered and burbled like a teapot. Pip giggled. His paws felt warm.
Pip leaped onto the ancient wishing well to see better. The well wobbled. Then it tipped with a loud clatter!
Pip's ears drooped. "Oh no," he whispered. The well was broken. Something had to be done.
Pip dove into the dark well. Deep inside, he found the cracked stone. He hummed a lullaby he knew.
Pip pressed his tiny paws against the crack. The stone grew warm. With a soft pop, it sealed itself whole again.
Pip curled up on the fixed well and watched the park shimmer. Everything was magical.
The lamppost burbled a sleepy song. Pip closed his eyes. His fur smelled of damp earth and magic.
The park whispered around him. Everything was fixed. Everything was quiet. Everything was perfect.
Pip dreamed of tickly glows and burbling lampposts. The park kept its magic safe, just for him.
