The bathroom door stood closed. Through the crack, a splash of rainbow colors caught Pip's eye.
Pip pressed his nose against the crack. His teddy bear sat on the rainbow seat, its fuzzy toes gripping the plastic.
Pip's hands fell to his sides. He looked down at his own bare feet. He wanted to go in, too.
Pip tugged the door handle. It did not move. He braced his foot and pulled again. Nothing.
Then Pip spotted a yellow stool by the sink. He dragged it to the door. SCRAAAAAPE.
Pip climbed onto the stool. He reached for the handle — but the stool wobbled. He hopped down with a sigh.
Pip picked up his teddy bear and placed it on the rainbow seat. Then he climbed right up beside it. WHOOSH — SPLASH!
Pip marched back to the living room, holding his teddy up high. 'I did it!' His grin stayed wide all the way.
