The little fox squeezed through knobby roots and froze. A glowing map lay on the forest floor, pulsing softly.
The map hummed a quiet tune. Golden arrows pointed deeper into the whispering woods.
The little fox followed the glowing trail. A hedgehog stood in the path, shivering with tears on its spines.
Pip tapped the map. It glowed brighter at the hedgehog's burrow. The hedgehog sniffled and grabbed Pip's tail.
They walked together. The path twisted and the trees hummed louder.
Tangled branches blocked the moonbeams. The hedgehog got stuck, spines catching on twigs.
Pip gently pulled the hedgehog free. They kept going.
A rabbit hopped into the path. 'I can't find my carrots home,' it kept saying.
The map pulsed again. Pip took the rabbit's paw and led both friends forward.
They reached a deep gap. The old log bridge had fallen. Darkness looked very wide.
Pip stepped forward bravely. The roots rose up and wove together — a bridge made of light.
They crossed together. Warm golden light spilled from a cozy burrow doorway. The woods hummed a happy song.
