Pip opened a blank page on the sidewalk. With one bright green crayon, Pip began a garden.
The vines wiggled off the paper. They curled around Pip’s crayons. Pip laughed and reached for another page.
Next came blue waves, silver fish, and a little boat. “Swoosh!” Pip drew one last curl.
The ocean splashed across the sidewalk. Pip’s paper boat sailed past the mailbox, bobbing between puddles.
Pip drew a tall mountain beside a gray wall. A fox, a bunny, and a bird tumbled down, waving paper flags.
Pip carried the pictures around the neighborhood. Gardens bloomed on walls, waves shimmered in windows, and the creatures waved from doors.
Neighbors pointed and smiled. “More!” they called, as colorful pictures covered the quiet street.
Pip placed a fresh blank page in the middle of the sidewalk. “Everyone, draw!”
Crayons tapped and scribbled. Pictures spread from the sidewalk to every wall, window, and door.
Pip skipped through the bright new adventure. Around the next corner, a brand-new picture waited.
