The sun shone bright over the sunny meadow. Wildflowers nodded in the warm breeze.
A little round bunny hopped into the meadow. He pressed his long ears forward and sniffed the wildflowers. "Where did you go?" he called.
"Have you seen my parrot?" the little round bunny asked a squirrel near a pile of acorns. The squirrel pointed its bushy tail toward the tall green trees.
The little round bunny hopped toward the trees. His round belly bumped against each step as he moved.
"Have you seen my parrot?" the little round bunny asked a bluebird on a low branch. The bluebird fluttered upward, and the little round bunny climbed after it.
The little round bunny scrambled higher. His paws slipped on the smooth bark as he reached farther and farther up.
Among the leaves, the little round bunny spotted bright green and orange feathers. He pushed the leaves aside — and the parrot tumbled out with a loud SQUAWK, wearing a tiny crown of daisies!
The little round bunny jumped back, then laughed until his whiskers wiggled. The parrot ruffled its feathers and let out a happy little squawk.
The little round bunny and the parrot sat together on the leafy branch under the warm sun. The parrot offered a daisy from its crown, and the little round bunny sniffed it, smiling.
They laughed again together, and the meadow glowed all around them.
