Buzz! The phone jumped on the kitchen table. A bright red message blinked: URGENT!
Raj stared at the word URGENT. He reached his thumb toward the shiny blue link.
The letters wiggled. They looked wrong, like a frog croaking backwards.
Mom walked in with a wooden spoon. 'What's that?' she asked.
Mom squinted. Then she laughed softly. 'Real banks never ask for your secrets in a silly text.'
Raj tapped Delete. The message vanished.
He felt proud. He solved it all by himself.
Mom hugged him. 'Next time, show me first,' she whispered.
Raj nodded. Outside, a bird sang sweetly.
The kitchen smelled like cookies. Everything was okay.
